On September 6, 2020, on the 13th Sunday after Pentecost, the day of the transfer of the relics of St. Peter, Metropolitan of Kiev, Moscow and All Russia, miracle worker (1479), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by the secretary of the Sourozh diocese, Priest Dimitri Nedostupenko and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
At the augmented litany, petitions were raised to get rid of the spread of the harmful epidemic - coronavirus infection.  Then His Grace Vladyka offered up a prayer, which is read during the spread of a harmful epidemic.
At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew congratulated the parishioners and clergy of the Cathedral with the feast and addressed them with a word of edification.
The service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
After the Divine Liturgy, the cathedral was opened for visiting parishioners and individual prayer.

Divine services with the participation of parishioners will be held every Sunday.  Due to the need to comply with Government rules for leaving quarantine, those wishing to take part in the Liturgy should read the Rules for visiting the church.
