On September 27, 2020, on the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.His Grace was assisted by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese.
After the augmented litany, the Most Reverend Vladyka offered up a prayer which is read during the spread of the harmful epidemic.
At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew congratulated the clergy and parishioners of the Cathedral with the feast and addressed them with a word of edification.
In the altar of the Cathedral, the Archpastor honored Alexander Selegenev with the right to wear a cassock in consideration of his hard work for the church.
The service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
