« Divine services were resumed in the parish of St. Xenia of St. Petersburg in the city of Leeds »

On August 8, 2020, day of the memory of St. Paraskeva (138-161), Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the parish of Blessed Xenia of St. Petersburg in the city of Leeds, after the weakening of state quarantine measures during the fight against the coronavirus epidemic.
The divine service was celebrated by the Rector of the parish, Priest Anatoly Vikhrov.  Recently, an Orthodox parish in Leeds found a new location for their monthly services.  The Anglican parish of the Holy Apostle Matthew has kindly provided their church which is located at St.  Matthew's Church, Wood Lane, Chapel Allerton, Leeds, LS7 3QF.
Under the guidance by the Rector, Fr.  Anatoly, during his service all the necessary measures were taken to comply with quarantine norms and social distancing.
According to the established tradition in the parish of Leeds, Divine Liturgies are celebrated every second Saturday of the month.
