On April 28, 2020, on the day of Radonitsa, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served a panikhida at the grave of the ever-memorable Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom), founder of the Diocese of Sourozh.
His Grace was assisted by the clergyman of the Dormition Cathedral, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
At the end of the paschal funeral service, Vladyka Matthew addressed those present with words of spiritual edification, emphasizing the many years of spiritual contribution and archpastoral work of Metropolitan Anthony in the establishment of Orthodoxy in the British Isles.
