On the night of April 19, 2020, on the feast of the Holy Resurrection of Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Easter Matins and the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by acting Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-East of England, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
At the small entrance, the Right Reverend Archpastor awarded Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, clergyman of the Dormition Cathedral, with a high Patriarchal liturgical award - the right to wear a kamilavka - for his hard work for the glory of the Holy Church of Christ.
Following the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, which was broadcasted live on the diocesan official web page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook, the Right Reverend Vladyka congratulated the clergy and all faithful children of the Russian Orthodox Church, living in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, with the bright feast of the Resurrection of Christ, and addressed everyone with a word of edification.
