On April 15, 2020, on the Great Wednesday of the Holy Week, the feast day of Saint Sava of Sourozh, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed at the statutory evening service at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.

The service was served by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, acting Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-East of England, who was assisted by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

Due to the state quarantine measures to combat the coronavirus epidemic, churches of the Diocese of Sourozh, including the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London, are closed to parishioners until a special order from the authorities.
