On January 29, 2020, after the news of a sudden death of Igor Stepshin, volunteer of the Dormition Cathedral in London, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served a panikhida for the newly departed servant of God Igor.Clergymen and employees of the Cathedral prayed at the panikhida.
For many years, Igor Speshin humbly and diligently carried out various daily household obediences in the Cathedral. Despite serious health problems, he tried to spend most of his time in the church, he worked to the best of his ability, until his death, to help in the daily life of the church.
May the Lord God repose the servant of God Igor where the righteous rest, and grant him eternal memory!
