On December 6, 2020, on the 26th Sunday after Pentecost, the day of remembrance of the Holy Right-Believing Grand Prince Alexander Nevsky, in schima Alexy (1263), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by the Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
At the augmented litany, petitions were raised for deliverance from the spread of the harmful epidemic - coronavirus infection. Then His Grace Vladyka offered up a prayer, which is read during the spread of a harmful epidemic.
At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew addressed the parishioners with a sermon.
The service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.

From December 4, 2020, after a break due to Government restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic, the Dormition Cathedral in London will be open for parishioners to participate in Divine Liturgies on Saturdays, Sundays and certain church feasts.
Evening services will continue to be celebrated without the presence of the congregation.
The celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism is resumed.
According to the UK government's recommendations for a gradual exit from the quarantine, parishioners should adhere to established social distancing and other quarantine measures. To do this, please familiarize yourself with the new rules for visiting the church.

The Cathedral is open:
- to participate in the Divine Liturgy on Saturdays, Sundays and certain church feasts -  from 9:30 to 11:30 (prior registration is required)
 - for visits and individual prayers - daily from 11:00 to 16:00 hours (no appointment is required).
