On December 4, 2020, on the feast of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Mother of God and Ever-Virgin Mary, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by the Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
At the augmented litany, petitions were raised to get rid of the spread of the harmful epidemic - coronavirus infection.  Then His Grace Vladyka offered up a prayer, which is read during the spread of a harmful epidemic.
At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew addressed the parishioners with a sermon.
The service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
This is the first service with participation of parishioners following the strict restrictive measures to combat the coronavirus pandemic, which were reintroduced by the UK Government from 5 November to 2 December 2020.

From December 4, 2020, after a break due to government restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic, the Dormition Cathedral in London will be open for parishioners to participate in Divine Liturgies on Saturdays, Sundays and certain church feasts.
Evening services will continue to be celebrated without the presence of the congregation.
The celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism is resumed.
According to the UK government's guidelines for a gradual exit from quarantine, parishioners should adhere to established social distancing and other quarantine measures.  To do this, please familiarize yourself with the new rules for visiting the church.

The Cathedral is open:
- to participate in the Divine Liturgy on Saturdays, Sundays and certain church feasts: from 9:30 to 11:30 (prior registration is required)
- for visits and individual prayers: daily from 11:00 to 16:00 hours (no appointment is required).
