« On the 22nd Sunday after Pentecost, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London »

His Grace was assisted by the Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
At the augmented litany, petitions were raised to get rid of the spread of the harmful epidemic - coronavirus infection. Then His Grace Vladyka offered up a prayer, which is read during the spread of a harmful epidemic.
At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew delivered a sermon and addressed congratulations to Father Dimitry, who celebrates the 5th anniversary of his ordination to the priest on this day. Paying tribute to the many years of Fr. Dimitry's service for the benefit of the Church of Christ, Vladyka presented him with an icon of the Most Holy Mother of God, holy prosphora and a bouquet of flowers.
Due to state quarantine measures to combat the coronavirus epidemic, services in the churches of the Sourozh diocese, including the Dormition Cathedral in London, are celebrated without participation of parishioners, behind closed doors.
