On October 24, 2020, day of the synaxis of All Saints who shone in the Optina monastery, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
At the augmented litany, prayers were raised to get rid of the spread of the harmful epidemic - coronavirus infection.  Then His Grace Vladyka offered up a prayer, which is read during the spread of a harmful epidemic.
At the end of the Liturgy, the archpastor congratulated the clergy and parishioners of the Cathedral with the feast the and addressed them with a word of edification.
On this day, Vladyka Matthew celebrates the fifth anniversary of his monastic tonsure.  Father Dimitri addressed the Archpastor with a congratulatory word and, on behalf of the clergy and parishioners of the Cathedral, presented Vladyka with a holy prosphora and a bouquet of flowers.
