On October 11, 2020, on the 18th Sunday after Pentecost, uncovering of the Holy Relics of the Holy New Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth (1918), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese.
During the augmented litany, the Most Reverend Vladyka offered up a prayer, which is read during the spread of the harmful epidemic.
At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew congratulated the clergy and parishioners of the Cathedral with the feast and addressed them with a word of edification.
The service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
After the Divine Liturgy, the Cathedral was opened for visiting parishioners and individual prayer.
