« Representatives of the Sourozh Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church took part in a reception on the occasion of the Day of Russia at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the UK »

On June 11, 2019, a solemn reception dedicated to the Day of Russia was held in the Residence of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in London.

Among the many guests, the receptionist was attended by priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, clergy, members of the church councils and parishioners of the Diocese.

A.V. Yakovenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the UK, addressed the audience and congratulated everybody with the national feast - the Day of Russia.

The solemn event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, prominent political figures, representatives of business circles, associations of compatriots, artists and journalists.
