« A solemn divine service was held on the feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem at the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Dublin »

On April 21, 2019, on the 6th Sunday of the Great Lent, Palm Sunday, feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem, a solemn service was held at the Stavropegic parish of the Holy Chief Apostles Peter and Paul in Dublin.
The festive day was marked by bringing to the church of the miraculous icon of the Most Holy Mother of God Kursk Root of the Sign.  Before the beginning of the Divine Liturgy, the rector of the church, Archpriest Mikhail Nasonov, in co-service with the clergy of the church, Irish Deanery and priest Sergei Mironenko (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia) served a molebem with akathist in front of the miraculous icon. Then Father Michael, in co-service with the clergy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy, attended by many believers from different parts of Ireland to celebrate the feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem and to veneratethe the miraculous image of the Most Holy Mother of God.
The liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the church under the direction of choir master Tamara Butkovskaya.
Glorification to the feast and consecration of willow took place before the end of the divine service. On the eve of the feast, Archpriest Michael Nasonov, together with the clergy, served the festive all-night vigil.
