On April 13, 2019, on Saturday of the fifth week of the Great Lent, the Akathist Saturday, Praise of the Most Holy Mother of God, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the parish of Venerable Ksenia of St. Petersburg in the city of Leeds.
His Grace was assisted by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, Dean of the Diocesan District of the North of England and Wales, Priest Anatoly Vihrov, Rector of the Parish,  Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, cleric of the Dormition Cathedral of the City of London, and Deacon Victor Akhryapin, cleric of Saint George church of the city of Newcastle.
Liturgical chants were sung by the parish choir of St. Constantine and St.Helen, equal to Apostles, from York.
At the end of the service, the parish priest Fr. Anatoly warmly greeted and thanked Vladyka Matthew for the visit and the opportunity for the parishioners of the city of Leeds to communicate with their Archpastor, after which His Grace addressed the congregation and the clergy with words of edification.
