« Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served Panikhida at the grave of ever-memorable Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom) »

On March 2, 2019, on the Universal parental Saturday, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served Panikhida at the grave of ever-memorable Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom), founder of the Sourozh diocese, at the Old Brompton cemetery in London.
Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch co-served with the Bishop.
Parishioners of the London Cathedral, many of whom knew Vladyka personally and were, for a long time, his spiritual children, arrived to honor the memory of Vladyka Anthony.
Upon the completion of the Panikhida, Vladyka Matthew addressed those present with  words of spiritual edification, emphasizing the significance of the many years of Metropolitan Anthony's apostolic ministry not on the British Isles and beyond, and the greatness of his spiritual works, which led many people around the world to Christ.
