On March 14, 2019, on Thursday of the first week of the Great Lent, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed at the morning divine service at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.The service was led by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk with assistance of Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
After the Vespers, His Grace Vladyka Matthew lead a litia for newly-departed Bishop Markell of Tsarskoye Selo, Vicar of the St. Petersburg Diocese, and for all Orthodox Christians who have fallen asleep throughout the ages.
