« Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed for the repose of the soul of Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna Romanova »

On December 11, 2019, during his official visit to Canada, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporarily Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, visited the York cemetery in Toronto.
Vladyka prayed for the repose of the soul of Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna Romanova and her husband, Colonel Nikolai Kulikovsky-Romanov, whose grave is on the territory of this cemetery.
Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna Romanova (June 1 (13), 1882 - November 24, 1960) - Grand Duchess of the Russian Imperial House, the youngest daughter of Emperor Alexander III Alexandrovich and Empress Maria Feodorovna, sister of the last Russian Tsar- passion bearer Nicholas II.  She was an artist.  At the time of her death, she was the last Great Duchess of the Romanovs House.

In the afternoon, Vladyka Matthew met with clergy and parishioners of the Patriarchal Parishes of Canada, current issues of church life were discussed during the meeting.
