On November 28, 2019, on the eve of the feast of St. Matthew the Evangelist, the Right Reverend Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of South-West England, Archpriest Gregory Butler, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Surozh, Hieromonk Nil (Khomenets), Priest Anatoly Vikhrov and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
Liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of Marina Bezmenova.
During the Matins of the all-night vigil, after the Gospel reading, Vladyka anointed the clergy and parishioners with consecrated oil.
