On September 5, 2018, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh visited the parish of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Ottawa, capital of Canada.

Vladyka was met by Mitred Archpriest Dimitry Sever, rector of the church, who  has been nurturing Orthodox believers in Canada for many years. Father Dimitry told Bishop Matthew about the history of the parish and about its modern life, showed him the interior of the church and informed about the divine services.
