« Bishop Matthew of Sourozh and Bishop Job performed the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of Edmonton, Canada »

On September 9, 2018, on the 15th Sunday after the Pentecost, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh and Bishop Job (Smakouz) celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Great Martyr Varvara in the city of Edmonton, Canada. At the entrance of the Cathedral the Right Reverend Vladyka was met with the bread and salt by Roman Lopushinsky, churchwarden.

The Right Reverend Archpastors were assisted by Archpriest Igor Kisil, Archpriest Mircea Panchuk, Archpriest Vitaly Makoli, Hierodeacon Joseph (Vinnik), Deacon Andrei Boldyrev. After the Gospel reading, Archpriest Mircea Panchuk, Dean of Western Canada of the Romanian Orthodox Church,  addressed the audience with the words of sermon.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Right Reverend Bishops exchanged greetings. Bishop Matthew offered a memorable gift to Bishop Job, and Bishop Job, in his turn, handed to Bishop Matthew Bishop's wand, which is kept at the Cathedral of Edmonton.
