« On the 3rd Sunday after Pentecost, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh led the Liturgy at the London Cathedral »

On June 17, 2018, on the 3rd Sunday after Pentecost, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His EGrace was co-served by Archpriest Igor Pokrovsky, clergyman of the Nizhny Novgorod Mitopolia, clerics of the Diocese of Sourozh Priest Evgeny Selensky, Priest Sergiy Fedorenko, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevich and Deacon Vladimir Castravet. 
After the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew and the clergymen sung glorification in front of the relics of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov.

At the end of the service the Right Reverend Vladyka congratulated the parishioners and clergy of the Cathedral with the feast  and addressed all present with a sermon.

On the same day, the holy relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov left the Great Britain. The relics returned safely to Russia. With the blessing of Vladyka, the delegation of the Nizhny Novgorod Metropolia and holy relics were accompanied to Heathrow airport by Alexander Andreev, assistant to the bishop of Sourozh Matthew for public relations.
