On June 16, 2018, the archpastoral visit of His Eminence Bishop Matthew of Sourozh took place to the parish of St. Apostle Andrew the First-Called in Romford.

His Grace Bishop Matthew headed the Divine Liturgy being co-served by Archpriest Joseph Skinner, rector of the parish, and protodeacon Vadim Santsevich, clergyman of the Assumption Cathedral in London.

At the end of the service, Vladyka Matthew addressed the congregation with a sermon.
