« Holy relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov brought from Diveevo to London »
On June 8, 2018, a relic of St. Seraphim the wonderworker of Sarov was brought to the Dormition Cathedral in London from the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevsky Monastery.
His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, together with Archpriest Michael Dudko, rector of the church of St. Innocent, Metropolitan of Moscow, in Beskudnikovo (Moscow), and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, a cleric of the London Cathedral, led a prayer service by the relics of the venerable saint.
With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Metropolitan Georgy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas, and Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, from 8 to 17 June 2018, the relic of St. Seraphim of Sarov will be brought from the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevsky Monastery to the boundaries of the Sourozh Diocese.
The organisers of the visit of the holy relic are the Nizhny Novgorod Metropolia, the Sourozh Diocese, the Serafim Sarovsky Foundation and Orthodox benefactors.
