On Sunday 24th September, 2017, the feast day of the Venerable Silouan the Athonite, the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Diocese of Sourozh will be headed by His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, Head of the Department of External Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate and a permanent member of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The Divine Liturgy will begin at 9.30 am.
A special photo exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of the primatial visit to Britain by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' will be opened after the service. His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion will open the exhibition and also present the English edition of the book by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, 'The Mystery of Repentance'.
