« Consecration of the small church and general meeting of the parish took place at the Cathedral »

On 20th January 2014, works on the refurbishment and embellishment of the church will begin at the Cathedral of the Dormition. The works include: the installation of a new wooden floor, change of underfloor pipework etc, reconstruction of the Altar area and Iconostas.

The renovation works will last for about a year.

During the refurbishment daily services will be celebrated at the specially equipped small church of the Cathedral. 

On 16th January, after Moleben to the start of the renovation of the Cathedral, the consecration of the small church took place followed by the general meeting of the parish where a detailed plan of works was presented.
