« Archbishop Sourozh Elisey took part in the annual dinner of the Nicene Club »

On September 9, Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh took part in the traditional annual dinner of Nikean Club, which took place in the Guard Room of Lambeth Palace, the official residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury. The event was attended by about 200 members and guests of the club, representing various Christian denominations.

This year at the invitation of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, after his traditional greeting the  members of the club were addressed by the newly-appointed Apostolic Nuncio in the United Kingdom, Archbishop Antonio Mennini.
