« Archbishop Elisey makes a pastoral visit to Ireland »

From September 20-21, Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh made a pastoral visit to Ireland. On the feast of the Nativity of the Mother of God, the archbishop celebrated the all-night vigil and Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Metochion of St Peter and St Paul in Dublin.

On September 21, after the festal services, Archbishop Elisey took part in negotiations with the representatives of the Church of Ireland to purchase the property currently  used as the Patiarchal Metochion,  the former Anglican church building at Harold's Cross Rd, Dublin 6. It was agreed in principle to produce a matching agreement and an action plan related to the forthcoming signing of the agreement.
