On Bright Saturday, 10 April, Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh made an archpastoral visit to the parish of Saint Kentigern in Glasgow. Vladyka celebrated the Divine Liturgy, together with Archpriest Gennadiy Andreev, Rector of the parish, Protodeacon Dimitry Nedostupenko, clergyman of the London Dormition Cathedral, and some of the clergy of the Glasgow parishes of the Constantinopolitan and Romanian Patriarchates. S.K. Krutikov, Consul-General of Russian Federation in Edinburgh, attended the service together with his spouse.
The service was followed by the Paschal Procession. Afterwards, Archbishop Elisey greeted the clergy and congregation on the Bright Feast of the Resurrection of Christ. Archpriest Gennadiy Andreev, Rector of the parish, responded to Vladyka’s greetings and thanked him for the archpastoral visit. The meeting of the Archbishop with the parishioners continued over the tea organised by the congregation.
