« Archbishop Elisey visited the Patriarchal Metochion in Dublin »

Following the Decree by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia entrusting Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh with the archpastoral administration of the stavropegic parish in Dublin, Vladyka visited Dublin in his new capacity.
On Saturday evening, 4th December, Archbishop Elisey celebrated the Vigil at the Patriarchal Metochion of St Peter and St Paul and on Sunday 5th December, he celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Metochion.
After the service, Vladyka presided at the working meeting of the church council where pricipals of administration of the Metochion were determined.
The Russian school of general education will again start its work at the church at weekends. Now it will have the status of a church school (with religion classes) and thus will become a unique Russian educational institution of this kind in Ireland.
