On Sunday 14th November, part of the Holy Relics of St John the Wonderworker of Shanghai and San Francisco was brought to the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God in London and presented as a gift to the Cathedral by the Diocese of San Francisco and Western America (ROCA).
Bishop Theodosius of Seattle, Vicar of the Western American Diocese, brought the part of the Holy Relics to the Cathedral.
Bishop Theodosius concelebrated the festive Divine Liturgy with Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh. Archbishop Anatoly of Kerch and the clergy of the Cathedral also took part in the service.
After the Divine Liturgy, in reply to the greeting and words of thanks of Vladyka Elisey, Bishop Theodosius told the multitude of parishioners who came the venerate the Holy Relics about the life of St John the Wonderworker of Shanghai.
