« Hierarch of Russian Orthodox Church Abroad visits Cathedral of the Sourozh Diocese »
Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, visited the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God and All Saints in London on the 14th of November.
Metropolitan Hilarion celebrated the Vigil service, at which he was assisted by Archbishop Mark of Berlin, Germany and Great Britain, Bishop Elisey of Sourozh, Archbishop Anatoly of Kerch and the clergy of the Cathedral.
After the Vigil, the ruling bishop of the Diocese of Sourozh greeted Metropolitan Hilarion and presented him with the icon of the Holy Virgin. In reply, Metropolitan Hilarion thanked him for giving him the possibility to celebrate the divine service in the Cathedral of the Sourozh Diocese and expressed his good wishes to the clergy and the parishioners of the Cathedral.
After the service, the hierarchs, clergy and representatives of the expanded parish Council of the Cathedral had a festive meal in the hall of the Cathedral.
