« Bishop Elisey visits Tunbridge Wells in Kent »
Bishop Elisey of Sourozh visited the Eucharistic Community of St. Luke in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, on the 31st of October, the patronal feast day of the community.
During the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, His Grace was assisted by the parish priest Father David Smith and Protodeacon Dmitry Nedostupenko of the Diocesan Cathedral in London.
In his address after the service Vladyka Elisey noted the importance of increasing the number of parishioners and of expanding the Eucharistic Community, which is one of the smallest communities in the Diocese of Sourozh. His Grace wished Father David God’s help in his important priestly ministry and gave him his archpastoral blessing. In return, Father David thanked His Grace for his visit on such an important day for the congregation and for the opportunity for common prayer.
