Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh

Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh (1914-2003) was the founder and first head of the Diocese of Sourozh.

Metropolitan Anthony's work for the Diocese of Sourozh was the fruit of his episcopal charge as shepherd of his flock. A talk entitled 'Metropolitan Anthony as Shepherd: the Statutes of the Diocese of Sourozh', given in Paris in 2005 by Bishop Basil of Sergievo, explores this legacy in some detail.

A number of Metropolitan Anthony's works are in print, with more publications in preparation. A collection of his sermons, together with his talks on confession, are in the near future to be published by St Stephen's Press.
