Church’s role in Russian society discussed by ‘Churches Together in Britain and Ireland’

With the blessing of Bishop Elisey of Sourozh, Archpriest Mikhail Dudko, a cleric of the London Cathedral, presented a paper on the role of the Church in Russian society to the International Affairs section of ‘Churches Together in Britain and Ireland’. Fr Mikhail gave an overview of the current relationship between the Church and society in Russia stressing the importance of sharing information on social initiatives with the others involved in similar projects and answered many questions from the floor.
