On July 28, 2019, on the 6th Sunday after Pentecost, commemoration of the Holy Fathers of the six Ecumenical Councils and Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Prince Vladimir (Basil at the holy baptism), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy with the rite of glorification of the Baptiser of Russia, at the Dormition Cathedral of the city of London.

His Grace was assisted by the clergy of the Cathedral and guests of the diocese in holy orders.

The liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.V.  Bezmenova.

At the end of the service, His Grace congratulated parishioners and the clergy with the feast day and addressed the worshipers with words of preaching and spiritual edification, highlighting the significance of remembring the Equal to the Apostles Prince Vladimir and the cause of his life - the gift and opportunity for our ancestors and for all of us to become Orthodox Christians.  The sanctity of life of all generations has since become the spiritual foundation of our people, the national idea of people living on the territory of historical Russia.
