On August 18, 2019, on the eve of the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served an all-night vigil in the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-West of England, Priest Dimitri Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
During the matins of the all-night vigil, after reading the Holy Gospel, the Right Reverend Vladyka anointed the clergy and parishioners with consecrated oil.
