On the night of April 28, 2019, on the feast of the Glorious Resurrection of Christ, the Right Reverend Bishop Matthew of Sourozh headed procession, festive Easter Matins and Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.

His Grace was assisted by the clergy of the Cathedral.

The liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.V.  Bezmenova.

After singing the verses of the Pascha, the Right Reverend Archpastor pronounced St. John Chrysostom's Easter Sermon.

After the Divine Liturgy's communion verse, the Easter message of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia to archpastors, pastors, deacons, monastics and all faithful children of the Russian Orthodox Church was announced in both Russian and English languages.

After the prayer before the ambo, the Right Reverend Vladyka consecrated the Artos.

Upon the release of the Divine Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew congratulated the believers with the bright feast of the Resurrection of Christ and addressed everyone with  words of spiritual edification, in which he wished that Easter joy always remains in our hearts.
